AIC Diversified Canada Split Corp. (TSE:ADC)

AIC Diversified Canada Split Corp., is a Mutual fund corporation which invests in units of the AIC Diversified Canada Fund. The Company is designed to provide investor with an opportunity to earn potentially higher returns than a direct investment in the Fund.

AIC Diversified Canada Fund invests primarily in Canadian equity securities and may invest in non-Canadian businesses up to the foreign property limit set out in the Income Tax Act of Canada.

The Fund had exposure to businesses operating in fields such as consumer products, medical equipment and testing, pharmaceutical manufacturing, generic drugs, real estate management, hydro-electric power generation, retail pharmacies, oil sands, gold mining, banking, asset management, and life and health insurance.

It was founded by Chairman and CEO Michael Lee-Chin who runs the company's affiliated fund management business, AIC Limited.
