Google's Adsense Network Serving DoubleClick Display Ads
Since closing it's DoubleClick acquisition earlier this year things have been relatively quite on the DoubleClick front, but it now appears that Google has began serving display ads to it's Adsense network from the DoubleClick platform.
Today I began noticing Ads being served to UrbanHustler.com from DoubleClick, the online advertising company Google bought this year for $3.1 billion. This leads me to believe that Google has now began integrating DoubleClicks adserving technology into it's Adsense network. It looks like they are now serving some display ad's from the DoubleClick platform. Google is moving very fast to completely integrate DoubleClick into it's ad network.
I think the the battle is really on now for the complete domination of the display ad business. Yahoo is currently the leader in this space, followed by Microsoft and ruling this space was the reason behind Microsoft's failed $44 billion bid for Yahoo.
