Def Jam Inks Label Deal With DJ Khaled

Island Def Jam Music Group announced today (Feb. 13) that is has entered into an exclusive partnership with DJ Khaled's label, We The Best Music.

His 2007 album, We The Best, have sold over 500,000 units and garnered radio play despite coming out through an indie label.

"I'm proud to be a member of the Def Jam family," DJ Khaled said. "Def Jam has been and still is one of the most important institutions in Hip-Hop and music as a whole. I am extremely honored and excited to be a partner with them in We The Best Music."

The first project through We The Best Music will be from rapper Ace.
