Translation Advertising will focus on creating advertising programs for clients, including television, print and radio, which are aimed at African American and culturally-blended consumers. As the agency grows, it will seek to partner with sister IPG companies to deliver specialty marketing services, such as special events and activation.
Translation Advertising is 51% owned by Stoute and Carter with 49% owned by Interpublic Group of Companies' Translation Consulting + Brand Imaging, another company Stoute founded and sold for an estimated $10 to $15 million to the Interpublic Group, the third-largest agency company (behind the Omnicom Group and the WPP Group).
