WorldSpace, Inc.

WorldSpace was the company that first brought the concept of Satellite Radio to the world. With global headquarters in Washington D.C., WorldSpace created the initial proprietary technology and programming infrastructure that both WorldSpace Satellite Radio and XM Satellite Radio are built on. The company is the only licensed provider of satellite-based digital radio outside of North America, South Korea, and Japan.
